Here's a walk through: uninstall, sand, primer, paint, install. Not to difficult to follow. Sand with a rough or medium grit at first and then move on to a higher grit. Check out the sandpaper they have at your local AutoZone, you'll know what to get.

Wrinkle paint or smooth finish, it's your choice. Can you form your own opinion or do you always have the internet do it for you?

But it's so much easier to have other people do it!

Sway bars are NOT strut bars.

I would get like 500 ish grit sand paper.
Then I would clean the sway and wet sand it with water.
Then I would primor with white primor.
And then get engine enamel paint.
The wrinkle paint is just bling but doesn't hold up IMHO compared to the engine enamel. You're gonna get a lot of dust and dirt and stuff so get some engine enamel paint and put a ton of light coats on it.

Good luck

you dont need anything too rough, you just need enough to scuff up the paint that is on there now so that your primer will stick good.!!

try taking the bar down to one of those rhino lining truck bed liner spray shops, and have them coat it for you $20 bucks tops

man i sure hope you dont have anything done to your car to make it look better, would hate to have any "rice" mods on your car.

Personally, I think the CTR bar looks good. Alot better than the stock black.

THIS JUST IN:

It's no longer cool to have a nice looking car.

I guess I will just be a total loser now.

Who the hell looks under the rear of a car, and why would they give 2-***** about a painted oem 15mm swaybar???

But hey, paint it if you want. I just don't see what the big deal is, and it's even dumber that you need to ask how to paint a simple swaybar. Sorry, nothing personal.
