Uberdata questions
I've been interested in using uberdata. My ecu is already chipped for hondata and I assume there is are no mods to make in order to switch, but there are a few questions that need to be answered before I start tackling this.
I am assuming that I must make a dataloging port (serial or usb, I've already read up on how to do it) in order to review my pulls to make changes on the laptop, this part is clear to me.
Now here is what is confusing me, after I make changes to the tables and want to test the results it appears to me that the chip must be burned every time to see the results, are there easier ways to do this? Is there a cable I can run from the socket to my laptop so the chip can be emulated in software? What options are there?
Also I know nothing of wideband displays. Is the a/f displayed in timed graphs? is it something that can be hooked into the laptop and seen by Uberdata?
Thanks everyone, my auto tech teacher is putting together a performance tuning class and he wanted me to get information on what we need to get for tuning hondas. I told him about Hondata, but then I told him about Uberdata, and for the price I dont think we can go wrong here.
