Default Car trouble

I go to visit a friend of mine for a few hours, then when I went to leave, my car wouldn't start. I tried several times and it would turn over, but wouldn't run. Checked the fuses, everything was fine. Tried again, 10 minutes later, still no love.

Then 5 minutes after that it started like nothing was wrong.

Go to another friends place and when I try to leave the same thing happens, except that the car stutters and runs for a few seconds each time I try and start it instead of just trying to turn over. After a few minutes, it starts again, no problem.

Once it is running, everything seems to be normal.

Is my fuel pump going bad or what is the problem?

Possible PGM-FI main relay problem.

I seriously doubt its the fuel pump/fuel line/fuel injector problem. I had this same exact problem on my civic. It progressively got worse to the point it would only start sometimes, but then would die and wouldnt keep running.

check those plugs/cap/rotor
check igniter in distributor
check the main relay (though thats usually only a problem on older cars)
check ground straps
maybe even the starter

ths might be of some help https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

Could be something wrong with your ignition. I remember that happening on my old accord and it turned out to be a bad ignition module.

check igniter in distributor-

I'd agree with that. These can go suddenly leaving you dead in your tracks or they can be intermittent before they finally give up the ghost.

let us know what it finally ends up being.

good luck

Did you turn on your lights or whatever to make sure you have enough power? It could simply be your battery.

I don't think it's the battery, it still cranks.
Chris, have you done your cap/rotor/plugs/plug wires yet?
