aiming headlights help!!!
im trying to aim my headlights, and i can get them where thay need to be, but they dont physicaly match up to the lines of the corner lens and the front bumper. ike when i aim it where it needs to be. the glass is all ****-eyed compared to the rest of the car. im using the 2, 8mm adjusting screws, is ther another or what am i doing wrong? BTW, its a 92 dx.
those are the 2 that im using. they look like small gears that adjust just the glass portion in the headlamp assembly. those are what im using. when i turn those, it adjusts horizontal and vertical.

My mistake. I perceived the two 8mm screws mentioned as the bolts on top of the headlight assy (8m) that hold the thing to the frame. So I guess it wasnt really misinformation, just a misunderstanding. You are doing it correctly. My lights dont line up correctly either.

ya i tried that, but you cant really adjust the corner lens, and thats where the biggest difference is. like its not even close and is very noticeable. would slighty moving the metal reflector inside the glass make a difference. cause i have it all apart and i can move that around a little, but i guess i wont know till night time, unless someone knows what im talking about.
Is your car excessively lowered or has it been in a front end collision? I've never seen a Civic with gaps or fitment around the headlights as bad as you're describing.
neither, no accidents, and i just lowered it like 2 weeks ago, and its been like this since i got it, i just got tired of finaly looking at it.i have no idea what the deal is. like i said, i think if i move the metal part in the headlight that should help me get it. i was just wondering if that would really help?
No really when I adjusted mines I have a freaking gap on my light to my front bumper now. It was flush before, o well at least I'm lucky my eg cf hood aligns perfectly to my fenders and bumper. But once again like the other guy said, "Welcome to the world of the Honda", once you mess with it its not gonna be the same anymore.
