hey guys before I was turboed I was running a few different na programs on my p28 for my y8 motor that I had recieved from hyperducktuning. I recieved my moates burner today and was setting it up to read some of the programs so I could see their fuel and ignition curves. The 2 programs I normally used were the j's racing program and prospeed program both of which I think are b16 programs, but he told me they would still work well on my d16y8, which they did seem to work better than the stock p28 program. My question is...when I was looking at the fuel maps for the j's racing and prospeed programs the maps seemed to have fuel values that were 200 more than they were in the same place with the stock p28. I thought that with na programs you make more power by leaning out the curves. So why was I making more power with so much more fuel added? Shouldn't running richer make me lose power? Also the ignition timing really wasn't advanced much if any from what the stock p28 maps had.
