B20 head Vs a Ls head
my friend is tryin to tell me that he thinks a ls head on a b20 would be better yhen a crv head on a b20. He said something about the Ls head flowing better what do you think?

nothign is different from what i know between b20s and ls heads but the B20 cams i hear are slightly better than teh ls cams

Yes, but only if the LS head is a 1994+. The 1990-1993 LS heads are not as good as either the 1994+ heads or the B20 head due to their smaller intake ports.

I think Rocket, of Rocket Motorsports, and I argued this out once on his m24 forums.
The bump from 130 hp B18A1 to 140hp B18A1 was most probably where you got the bigger port PR4 head. So, 92+ heads. I know I've dealt with big port B18A1's... I have a '93 B18A1 that is a big port head.

the jump in hp was a result of timing and fuel maps along with a change in the exhaust and intake manifolds. i know for a fact that they are the same because i have THREE spare LS heads siting around and i MEASURED each one and found that they are all identical i have one from a 91 integra, a 94 integra and a 98 integra. all three of the castings are identical
