Im debating if I should buy a ITR throttle body? Does anyone know if I would have any significant gains from using a ITR throttle body rather than my stock GS-R throttle body? I plan on putting this on my Skunk 2 IM. Thanks

 

Id just bore match your gsr throttle body to the skunk manifold. thast the cheapeset most cost efficiant (sp) and more power gain for the money

 

if you can find a cheap itr or ctr tb then get it or else send your tb out to king motorsports, i think it is 150 or so for boring to 64mm.

 

there is a guy on honda-tech thatll rebuild your throttle body for 100 bucks
2-3 day turnaround and that includes shipping it back and the bore job

 

The port on the Skunk 2 is 65mm


our throttle bodies can only be bored 4mm over. This is the route i suggest. GSR is 60mm so the closest you can get it is 64mm with it ... which is perfectly fine. Just for the other guy saying to port match it is 1mm shy

Im running a Bored LS TB on my SKunk 2 its only 62mm but definately better than 58mm (:

 

your best bet ,imo, is to get a jg 65mm t/b with your 65.2mm skunk2 i/m. thats what i got.

No huge HP gains but expect a nice gain in throttle response

Wrong

I know ITR is 62mm never said otherwise ( I said my LS is bored over to 62mm)

GSR TB is 60mm

LS is 58mm

Skunk 2 port is 65mm
