Default Cut Valve Cover Question

I recently purchased this valve cover to put on the car while tuning. The cover was already cut for cam gears - but the cut vouts look smaller than I would have thought they needed to be.

Do these cut outs look large enough to allow acess to gam gears for tuning? If they are not I'd like to know now to cut them larger before going to the shop to get everything installed and tuned...

Maybe it's just the pic but IMO you may need a larger diameter cut.

If you're just using it for tuning why not just cut that whole piec out with a saw?

Lol...those "cut outs" are the stock openings for the cams to go through....the whole side of the valve cover that covers the cam gears was cut and thus they will be totally exposed...

WHAT?

Leave the poor thing alone, it can't be any more "hacked" without rendering it usless as a valve cover...

Read the replies again...CAREFULLY this time...'less j00 feel like buying another valve cover after j00're done with j00r "hacking"

no dont cut anything else off, the entire cam gears and belt will be exposed already if you cut anymore, the cams them selves will be showing and thats no good

That is the type of cut valve cover I thought (and was told) that I was purchasing.. oh well. I'm sure this one will be fine on the car for a few days and a trip to Houston for some tuning...
