Default OT: Spped check

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I was hoping some of my ITR people could help. I was going kinda fast, well, too fast, and I passed a sign that said speed checked by radar. Later I went back with a radar detector and it went off in the same area. It was a remote road where the limit is 65, not too far from here? Am I screwed? I'm having a heart-attack over this. TIA.

huhu, sounds like you were on Sand Canyon Rd or the back side of Jeffrey in the Northw00d area.

It was prolly just a radar warning j00 of j00r speed, but I doubt any photo was taken. j00 wud've seen the flashes.

Chris:
The outskirts of Irvine is really tempting to go drive slightly above the already high speed limit, but becareful. Cops can be sneaky out there. Take it from a guy who's lived and worked in Irvine for 8 yrs.

Brad, no offense taken

j00 shuda been here in the early days of HTC. Some of the chit posted by the socal f00z was unreadable. Then a few east coast f00z caught on and now we pretty much use it only in emails and IMs. This "Socal g00f" speak gets worse everyday and now it's almost like talking in code

"say hello.. to my lil' fren!"..ah love that move and can quote just about any line.

anyway back on topic. a friend of mine gave me one of those clear license covers he bought off the internet. standing behind my car the plate is visible but at an angle it just disappears. Its not legal to have but i've been taking my chances. Yes, i have been pulled over foe it but cop was super cool and let me go. You can check it out at the BBQ.

Vago- who has seen scarface way too many times and has the accent down.

I already hae one! I used to have two, but when I worked at the local cop hang-out where I lived in Pittsburgh, they told me that it was illigal, then I asked if they would pull me over and they said no, but state cops would. I took one off and left one on for my cross country trip, and I never got to putting the second one back on. Oh well, hopefully I'll be okay. Thanks guys for all your help!
