PROBLEM WITH MY B20BVTEC PLEASE LET MEKNOW IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!
[B]WHEN I STAR MY CAR SOMETIMES I PUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS AND START RUNNING BUT SOMETIMES BEFORE LIKE A MINUTE OR 2 FEELS LIKE THE GAS PEDAL IS GOING DOWN BUT IT WON'T SPEED UP NORMAL AFTER 1 OR 2 MINUTES THEN STAR RUNNING NORMAL! IN OTHERS WORDS THE FIRST 2 MINUTES MY CAR MAKES ME LOOK LIKE THE GUYS THAT ARE JUST STARTING TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE DUE TO THE GAS IS GETTING TO THE ENGINE IN PORTIONS, NOT UNIFORMLY FOR THE FIRST 2 MINUTES, THIS HAPPEN SOMETIMES NOT ALWAYS

from my optomitrist the caps and bold damaged my eyes....
its pretty simple it sounds like you are running on stock injectors, no fuel management and a poor fuel pump
dont forget you just increased the CC's on your car and you have not
changed the rest....

Hmm... I have a B20B Vtec in my EK w/injectors, fuel pump, and fuel rail all from a D-series motor and it works great. But what you do need to change is your ECU. Try resetting it, if that doesn't work you need to mod your ECU and get a flashed chip for it. My chip is programmed: No speed Limiter

Max Fuel Flow
VTEC Engagement: 5,500 rpm

where do u get a b20 vtec.. is it from a crv? or what? cuz i know you can bore out a 1.8 to a 2.0, but is there a stock version of a 2.0 vtec? or maybe bigger?

Hey ive got this crazy idea that may work for your car.Allow your car to warm up for those 2 minutes before you go giving it hell.I mean damn, it pisses me off to no end when i see my friends jump in there cold *** car that hasnt been started in a day or too and just redline thift right from the get go.Just let the damn thing warmed up.

well pretty much u did jack it from mp7235 hahaha LOL but its all gud we all member here to help teggy fella's owners except the thieves here around......

try changing your fuel filter. and then come back and edit your post. its hard as **** to read in all caps and no punctuation. i dont want to go reread your chicken scratch, and no one else does either.
change your filter and tell us what fuel system is, your engine setup, and engine management. i probably cant tell you whats wrong, but someone can.

yeah bro try maybe getting a higher flow fuel pump. and injectors and fuel filter. just to make sure its not one of those things. and if it was then your problem is solved. One more thing. why do people have to be jerks, he was asking a question, yeah maybe he shouldnt be using bolds or cap locks but still just get off his *** and try to hell a fellow h-t member instead of bagging on his ***.

What your describing sounds like bogging, which can many times be attributed to a tuneup (first things first). How old are your ignition components (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), and what are your mods?
Gotta give a ton of info so we can help the best we can...
