just got a type r radiator, and found out it was thinner then my ls radiator.
okay, why is my ls radiator about 1cm thicker then the type r radiator?
is it to save weight?
the type r radiator i bought is black. has denso stamped on it.
my ls radiator is kinda tan looking.
my friend ls radiator is black also.
what color is ur radiator?

I wouldn't waste the money on a type r radiator. I bought a new after market raidiator from a local shop and it only cost me $150. If you want a real mod to keep your engine cooler, why not add an oil cooler?

what year is your LS?? My radiator is the same exact one as my friend's type R..with denso stamped on it. Mine is a 98 RS and his is a 2000 type R and nothing is different.
Reason why RS's and ITR's have the same radiator is because they both don't have A/C. GSR's, and LS's have the same radiator unit.
Won't exactly keep your car "cooler" but it will keep the car's tempeture more stable. It will keep it "cooler" if you mean that your engine gets very hot and it will keep the temps near normal. HTH
Or get a fluidyne
Will this keep your car cooler? How much?

Fluidyne will not give you leak at top and bottom plastic crimp b/c it doesn't
have plastic top nor bottom.
