can a f20b1 engine fit into a 94 accord dx. I think I might do this swap but dont know if it will fit.

 

ur not talkin about the dohc f20b are you? if so itll fit fine. but its not worth it because the h22a is better and costs way less... do some searching... if its another engine from the USDM s2k (as it appears it may be since you put that "1" in there, and i dont know the s2k very much at all so im not sure that is the engine code) then no.

 

yes it is a dohc vtec and this guy is selling me for $800 pretty cheap and plus it has only 20k miles on it . This is good

 

HOLY GOD.... somethin has to be wrong with it for him to sell you it for 800....thats a 3500 complete swap... are you getting a tranny with this deal? is it a JDM engine? you better learn a lil bit about the f20b and then ask him shitloads of questions and all that, because that is one hell of a deal... too good to be true kind of deal

f20b is the accord type r motor, or SiR i believe. f20c is the s2k motor. if its only 800, i would definately get it if it has no problems. f20b goes for 3500 on hmotorsonline.com so youre getting that thing at a steal.

 

I was under the impression that the accord Euro R came with an H22a7 but you know me I may be mistaken.

 

thats the uero r...not the SiR... but the SiR-T did come with an h22a... this i do BELIEVE as well... but i may be mistaken...

 

there was also a JDM F20b soch engine w/ 11:1 cr . It's probably that one.

there is no such motor as f20b1, only f20b.....make sure you see pics of the motor, and a warranty on it.....thatll be an OBD II engine, so ull have to worry about that......plus, god knows about the motor mounts......$800, sounds like a scam to me, and id stay away from it w/o pics and a warranty

PS: get a pic of the engine code stamped onto the block.....

f20c is the old s2k motor i believe the new models have an f22c1?? I know it is a 2.2 litre though. That goes against the belief that honda doesnt make 2.2 litre engines hahaa

i thought that the s2k with a the f22c was called s2200 which was gonna have the 2.2L engine, obviously, but also a hardtop and that the s2k was still gonna be basically the same. i wanna say i read that in road and track but i could be wrong.

i hope ur just pretending to be retarded....honda has almost as many variations of 2.2L engines as they do sub-mountain dew-bottled-sized engines

 

I was just saying that the new s2k has a 2.2litre and I know its an f series but i didnt know the rest of the code.....I know you have seen the post where the kid is confused becuase he doesnt think Honda made 2.2l engines?? am I wrong

Buy the F20b for 800, sell it for 3500, buy an h22 for 2500, and 1000 left over for turbo goodies .

 

i might be a lil late on this but their is just thing asa f20b1 it comes in a Isuzu Aska its a rebaged cd5 accord

 

and also a rebagged 6 gen accord
