I am looking to step it up a notch. Maybe go with some Rainbows or Seas Lotus. I have my eyes on a set of Morel Supremos. Possibly a couple W7's, everything powered by either ARC , Zapco, TRU, Or Brax. Who knows what the future holds.

 

did u happen to take advantage of the SEAS group buy they had on Golden Ear Mafia? i forgot the price on the component set, but i was considering the reference midbass's. i didnt get them though, just got another set of FOCAL polyk

I wanted to badly but didn't have the money at the time. I think they were going for $525-$549 awesome deal. I might get a set of Focal 165k2p to replace my Focal 165k2's

If I had w6's, I certainly wouldn't rush out to buy w7's unless of course you wanted to just say you had the most expensive jl's out there....

The W6's are the only thing that i don't really want to get rid of. But I wouldn't mind blinging the W7's.

I really liked the k2p's over the Utopia's at the shop where i listened to them, but i haven't gotten to run my 165k2's off my amp yet so i can't really compare the 165k2p's vs the 165k2's.

i personally dont like the utopia's, thats y i went the polyk line. u should try out ur k2's first before u buy the k2p's.

I most likely am going to keep the K2's. i might purchase a pair of Rainbow Profi Extreme Competition CS 265P just to compare them to the Focals

On an off subject whats your opinon on running the Arc Audio XXK 1500 Amp
to my w6's, and what's the retail price on this. I am interested in buying this off somone but i don't know if his price is good or not.

Focals are great and thats a fair price too. i loved my utopia's but we since picked up Diamond Audio, so I got a set of Hex's for free for demo. Otherwise i'd still be rockin Focal.

 

Thanks for all the intrest. I have decided to keep everything. Installed it all yesterday. Let me just say it is STUPID LOUD!!!!. I love it. I was contemplating getting a seperate amp to power the subs, but after hearing the 12w6's being pushed by the PPI, i have absolutely no need for another amp. I am only pushing 250watts to each sub and it is INSANE. There is now way in hell i would ever try to Push 800 to each as was my original intention.

Anyways just wanted to thank everyone for the intrest.
