HELP, bad compression test
there was this guy who wanted to guy my car this morning and he took it in for a compression test and this is what it said
1-170
2-170
3-155
4-160
is my engine done, or am i going to have to replace the rings and valve guides? what should i do. should i sell my car for less and sell it to someone who doesnt get it checked. im so pissed off cause it only has about 80k on it. whats it going to cost?

did he tell you those numbers or was it written - it seems like an easy way to get someone to sell their car for cheap - id have the compression checked myself - well id check it myself but none the less id want to see it w/ my own eyes - if it is that bad it will be expensive to fix - if your going to rip someone off dont ask us to say its okay cus its not - good luck

No, that's messed up. Now that you know it has a problem you have to get it fixed or let people know.
