I was trying to take my AC condensor out (dont ask) and when i disconnected those 2 lines at the bottom and tried to pull it out something popped and this gas went everywhere. how bad is this? What exactly happend?

 

you lost all your refrigerant.

 

can i run my car without the AC condenser without removing the AC pulley/

 

The AC isn't sapping any power from your engine when it's off...why would you do this?

 

about 50lbs I believe.

*hand hit forhead* IDIOT! Come on man use your brain here! your supposed to relieve the pressure off your AC system before doing anywork on it! and why just the condensor? why not the pump too? the pump is whats robbing your power!

I took my complere power steering and AC system out one the corolla, only drag is the alternator.

 

Plug up the lines really well so if you ever decide to use them again they will still be okay to use.

 

Working on your A/C system is very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. That's some bad news, bud. Don't do it again.

 

ya I know. O well I think im going to have someone else remove the rest of the AC unit probably, I never use it, its never that cold. SO all its doing is costing me more weight and power.

 

hahhaha, i agree. he's also f*cking up our o-zone.

 

I believe there is a HUGE fine if the EPA finds out about how you removed your AC.
