A friend of mine has just swapped a d15b7 into a 92 vx hatch...after the car sit over night it takes about five cranks to get the car started and once it's started when you try to give it some gas the rpms drop...when you let go of the gas it goes back up...then when the car get a chance to warm up for 5-6 min everything is fine again...anyone got any input?

Try cleaning the IACV with brake or carb cleaner.

We actually had two different motors in...the vx motor din't have the cold start problem...after the first swap we experienced it...we thought the motor was bad so they actually sent us another motor too...we put the new one in and still have the same problems...'m thinking it something with the wirings but we used a ex wiring harness too...and still the same o thing...
