the rt/s are good (the last couple runs), but you need to practice the launch... and the trap is still very low. Did you get that tuneup yet?

Its those 60ft times that are hurting you. Gotta practice that launch and get some better tires.

60' should be 2.2x at best, but a 2.3x is typical.

sorry, but that is a horrible time. Bone stock with a 2.4 60' (sucky) I was running 15.6@91mph in my GSR. Your mph is saying something is wrong. I suggest going with a CAI. You are shifting at redline right? In a GSR, you can shift so fast it isn't funny, so usually the only difference between runs (for me) is just the launch.

yeah, practice the launch.
revving to 4.5k and slipping/dropping the clutch netted me some 2.206 60ft times on dunlop sp5000's.
with some practice on the launch, and maybe a CAI like TypeC said, you should hit low 15's, assuming the rest of your car is well kept.

Good luck.
Tom

DAMN, I really do suck, for some reason I cant get over 88 mph, when I ran the 15.803 i redlined to 3rd, I dont remember what I launched at when I ran the 15.6, I was usually slipping/dropping the clutch at 3000-4000rpms.

I will be getting the Cold Air Extension for my DAC in a few months.

hmm.. how much does temperature affect performance. I ran a 13.3 on my b20/vtec with only a 2.0 0-60 ft and it was 92 degrees outside (it was night time too). Since then i have added a z10 radius arms. What can i expect if temperature was around 60.

I understand the times being low what I cant figure is why the trap speeds are so bad (NOT AT ALL FLAMING!!!) I got 92 mph consistantly but sorry a$$ times my best out of 4 was 15.7 its all the launch and shifting. I was babbying it a lil

I did take 3rd all the way out, and then everybody there kept telling me that I should get it into 4th, I might need a tune-up or something!

Those are some slow times. GS-R 16's? You should be able to run low 15's with the right conditions and a great launch.

I pulled into 14's with just an Intake and Exhaust, and you should be able to do that also...

I've read many instances where GS-R's with only a CAI running into 14's...
