Default JDM B18c1 GS-R (sir-G)

when i get this engine installed in my civic what parts on the engine would i have to replace to go get a bar sticker since i live in california?

the jdm gsr motor should just say B18c on it. if it says b18c1 its a usdm motor. if you want to safely run your motor in that chasis you would need to get it BAR certified. your gonna have to make sure all the emmissions are correct and need to run a usdm gsr ecu also/

you need to ceonvert to obdI, and run gsr emissions, nothing needs to be replaced on the motor itself but you will need to use a usmd gsr ecu.

so i can get a JDM engine but all i need to do to get a bar sticker is convert to 0bd1 and get a USDM ecu?

add a evap purge solenoid and a USDM ecu. thats it.

thats only for obdII
