Default Need a clean exhaust for a 2nd gen teg

Hey, im looking for a clean exhaust for my 2nd gen teg. Im not really aiming for anything flashy or loud. Id also like to avoid the canister style or n1 looking exhaust. Trying to stay as close to stock as possible. So post some ideas, and picks would be even better. btw does rsr make one for the DA?

peace

I'm assuming that you're exhaust runs like mine, from the passenger side, across the middle, and out on the left. If you don't want to get a canister style exhaust you could get a straight through muffler to replace your current one. I know somebody makes mufflers to replace the one you have. Or you could go with something like my borla muffler, which doesn't look too flashy.

rsr, greddy sp, thermal, hks sport ( hard to find) if the big tip is a problem nothing a hacksaw cant fix and then weld on your choice of tip.

you can get a custom exhaust from kteller8 all you would need is to get some of the hangers welded on and such. it would save on some money

No, unfortunately I don't. It's a borla muffler, running on all the stock piping for now. It has a nice low tone, but it can get a lil loud when I'm on it. Good thing is it isn't raspy or ricey, that's why I love it. It just sounds like I have a fast car lol.

Build quality is freaking awesome. Each piece of the whole exhaust setup has a serial number engraved on a small plate which is welded on.

Sounds stock at highway and most daily driving. Nice sporty sound when getting on it. VERY nice sound when VTEC hits. Highly recommend it I also get many compliments from my friends on how quiet and sporty it sounds. I plan on making a video soon, will post it here as soon as I do.

Thermal R&D is the nicest sounding and looking exhaust for the DA in my opinion.

Tanabe Hyper Medallion If you dont want it to be too flashy, you can always just paint it with High temp black paint.

Just bought one for my DA a few days ago. Havent put it on yet, but heres a vid clip of what it sounds like (found the clip on G2ic.com) http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290449731

Heres some pics of the Tanabe

actually, Thermal R&D isnt loud at all, and i dont think these people are out to buy a loud muffler....their out to buy an exhaust system to enhance the performance of their car.

I have a magnaflow muffler with custom b-pipe on my 91. It is a little too loud and can definatly get raspy. I'm thinking of changing it out to a stock one actually.

you want stock look with minimal sound and very high quality? try finding the OG HKS system for the DA.

Please take my advice and others who recommend the RS-R exhaust for your 2nd gen. I have a 93 gsr with the RS-R catback and it is one of the best quality exhaust i have ever heard. (not tryin to brag)
