i'm thinknig right in front of my guageson my guage pod.. i saw a pic of a gsr with it there and it looked really really dope.. I'm just wonderin, does vafc do other readings? like rpms and stuff? cuz in thep ic the vafc was covin the high rpm ranges, i'm just thinking it might be covering it up if i put it there...anynoe got any pics?Thanks

 

Isnt the VAFC the same size as the RSM? I mounted my RSM in the place above the stereo, i had to butcher the pocket to get it in snugly.

 

yea the VAFC will do RPM, throttle sensor...ect...

 

Mount in your glove box. Thieves see that kind of stuff and want it. Even if they don't know what it is.

i think u can remove the ashtray in the dash and with slight modification get it to fit nicely there...not sure though, anyone have pics of this done, cause i know ive seen it before

That's the **** right there. I think that looks really nice.

 

if it is a vafc2 then pull out your ash tray. it fit's perfectly right there. Or if it is a vafc (first one) then you may need to cut some plastic out... I think thats the best place. If might get too hot above the mirror in the summer... But those two spots are good... Remember if a theif see's that **** he will grab it... Try to hide it as much as possible...

because i don't look at it.

what do i need to look at it for? the only real reading i use that is useful on the road is PRS which helps me keep my gas consumption lower.

because it's more accurate than the throttle reading when the car is on, and the amount of gas going in is inversely proportional to that pressure (considering your RPMs too)

thanks guys, i think i am goig to mount her right in front of my guages... is there any way i can like take her out when i leave the car or something so it doesn't get jacked? like a stereo face plate? Thats the only thing i am worried about. Thanks

thats what i was wondering... if u dont look at then it wouldnt matter but if u did look at it alot like some people might then that would be a bad place.

could i use like velcrow and run longer wires so i could like stick it down under my seat when it's parked or something.. so they would think it's just liek stereo wire or something.. sound liek a good or bad idea?
