Default Is it the clutch & flywheel not mating properly???

I have an Exedy baseline Racing Clutch w/ stock flywheel in ride. I noticed today that when I changed into 2nd or 3rd, and stepped on the gas alittle hard...the engine seemed to rev but I wasn't really accelerating. It took a bit for my car's speed to catch up with the RPM's...if that makes sense. If I tried to shift hard (chirp) in second, the engine would just rev without strong torque to the wheels. Any thoughts. I think I need a new flywheel. Perhaps the ACT Streelite.

Sounds to me like a slipping clutch or leaking master cylinder.

My clutch resivoir is full. I think the clutch is slipping. When I did my swap, I had to resurface the flywheel. It probably needs to go. If I change out the flywheel, do ya'll think I need a new clutch too? Its only 8 months old. Exedy.

Just bleed your clutch line and see if it gets better or stops the problem. When you resurface the flywheel, usually it should make the flywheel more balanced and work better, not worse. Let us know if bleeding it works if you decide to do so.

If you are lookin at your motor from the front, the slave cylinder is on the transmission as you look down, to the left of the header. It has a bleeder valve on it. It is 8mm. Use a open socket wrench to loosen it to bleed it.
