automatic short shifter

i once saw a DIY about cuttin teh shift to make it shorter like a short shiofter does anyone know how to do it cuz i wanna do taht to mine. thankx

nahhhhh, id leave it alone! it wont help out any unless u want it for looks on an auto.

the purpose of a short throw shifter is obviously to reduce the distance between shifts----you dont need to shift in an auto--

i got a 94-97 automatic shifter assembly lying around if you want to experiment with it.
