cd player fixed but no noice
ok,my sister got her cd player fixed,we installed it and now it doesnt play. Before the cd player face wouldn't light up so we got it fixed. We can tell the cd player is workin becuz the timer starts goin, but there is no sound. But before the cd player started messin up the speakers worked fine,so we think it could be like some loose wire but we have no idea where it could be,so my question would have to be is there an cheap way of fixin it,or are we goin to have to spend lots of dough? We also might think it could be the equalizer that is messin it up.But if anyone has any good ideas please help me.Cuz it sucks riding around with out tunes.thanx
Well what car do you have? Finding a wiring diagram for what you have might be helpful, but if you hooked it up wrong before, it may be fried. I know I fried one headunit hooking it up wrong. It would light up and everything, just no sound.
happened to my friend when he installing a system to his car. You gotta get a new deck man becuase from what he told me was the fuse from the decks amp is fried.

My headunit has a fuse in the back of it that you can change in this kind of event. If yours does, look into changing it.
