Default CD Player Bounce!!!

I was coming out of a parking lot, so i gunned it in first, and shifted to 2nd and the car bounced a little bit, but my cd player ended up bouncing too........i parked at the mall parking lot, and then left, when i came back, i tried to turn my cd player on but it wouldn't, the eject works fine but the cd player would not turn on, only if i pressed eject and it ejected my disc then would immediately turn off again........Any ideas on what u think happened?????????? think it short circuited my cd player??? but don't really know.....

Ya, try checking the wiring cause it can get tight in the small space behind the head unit. It's likely that one of your wires got disconnected.

Have you checked your fuses yet?

You've obviously ruled out the deck, by getting the same results from another unit. Sounds kind of like you are getting memory power, but not switched/ignition power. To try and single out the problem, hook your old deck up only unsing the two power wires and ground, no speaker or remote turn-on. Check all your fuses and power connections with a multimeter. GL
