I got a good deal on some 96-00 Shocks but I own a EG. are the EK and EG shocks compatible?

 

Yeah you can use those shocks. But if you ever decide to upgrade your lca it won't fit.

 

with some modifications they can be campatible.

 

dude you should really search Emerika has covered this topic, and just the other day there was a topic about it.

 

here are the options

96 up rear shock on 92-95 rear lca ->ground down the bushing
92-95 rear shock on 96 up rear lca ->use wahsers on each side of the inside bottom of the shock (like all tokico rear civic shocks on 96 up)

 

Im using EK Teins SS on my EG, I was going to just cut the bushing down to size but found lca's that had 40mm bushings that fit the EG.
