What octane for 18 degress timing on a D16A6?
I just picked up a new crx and the guy bumped up the timing to 18 which was just confirmed by checking the timing myself.
Is it safe to use 87 octane? I've been using 89 without a problem.

A cam with more overlap than stock actually reduces the actual compression ration by bleeding off compression, thats why radical cams need higher compression pistoms to work well
