need oil help
I was driving last night and my oil filter poped off i guess the o-ring wasnt on there anyway. I pulled into t a auto store, i got a new filter, and they only had 20w50. As i was coming home i noticed a lil bit of knock only around 3000 rpm.
Could this be the oil, i think it only did it when i had that 20w50 in it. Im waiting on a friend so i can go get some 10w30

yeah it would mostly depend how long you drove the afterwards i doubt it was from the oil that oil would still do its job just not be good on the motor for a long time, should have turned off car right away.

I heard a clank, my oil pressure light on my aftermarket guage went off.. it wasnt at 0 but it was around 5 or 10 when i immeditily shut it off and coasted into a parking lot which was near a auto parts store.

20w50??? Geez! Was that a truck store???
How long did you drive with the filter off?
If it JUST happened and you fixed it right away
you shouldn't have any problems. 20w50 is a very
heavy weight oil for our little 4 cyl motors.
10w40 is actually an ideal weight for most applications.
Better yet go with a synthetic.
Anyway, I would drain what you have, get a JDM Honda filter
(not that tiny Fram crap) and see how your motor sounds.
Good luck!
