The supercharger is gonna make more power than tryin to keep it n/a, but you're gonna run into some efficiency issues if you try and push up that boost.

F all motor, its not worth tossing 5k into a motor and making 215hp.

Depending on your setup, to realize the potential of either youll need more than just whats listed.

Hello all I am friends with Subydoored and I own a 2000 Celica GT-S, our friends teggie is a nice piece. Im trying to convience him that he should stay NA also. He should be so lucky he has the aftermarket backbone that the B18C does as I wish I could make my 2zz-ge a high reving NA beast. But I enjoy it for what it is and plan on working with suspension etc, and becoming a better driver.

Give Suby and I ammo for this gsr driver!

In the world of typical automobiles, its considered high.

10:1 is a great compression for low boost...allows us to squeeze a ton of potential out of each PSI. Just leaves less room for tuning error.

I guess what we're trying to say is, you couldnt compare a car thats limited to cams intake and exhaust...the question would be, which would make more power, a well put together All motor setup consisting of xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx or a base JRSC @ 6PSI.

And it all depends on the all motor setup since thats the variable. I would say in terms of the categories you listed, they would be very similar, generally. HP/TQ gain would depend on the setup, with an edge to whatever form of FI youre choosing in terms of potential. Reliability and MPG would be pretty similar.

I agree he should boost it.. but not since he's only had the car for 2 months.. and his last car was an 84 LTD If and when he does boost, turbo is the way to go of course

what kinda fundage is he working with, what year is the car, milage, model, etc.

If he has got any budget whatsoever, go turbo, but hes gonna need 5gs to build a kit, tune it, and run well. I mean, he could just by like a greddy kit.

If there is no money, then just buidl it up with bolt ons, it won't be as fast, but what can you do?
