or the fact that it'll be cheaper to do it himself instead of paying someone to do it. Honda-tech recently seems so afraid of a little customizing work. As long as you have a little skill you can do it no problem.

DIU i know you WANT to do it yourself, but its not a simple process, espeically when you are talking using an OEM honda one from a car thats not of your year, your headliner may not even have the provisions to fit the motor assy and what not under it, it would be easier to either A get a CRX roof panel and somehow custom it onto your car, or do what i said and get an aftermarket unit. asshat

No its not a simple process, but its also not as hard as you think. It'll take a decent welder, and possibly a little fabric work to make a new headliner. Definetly not rocket science.
You can use this as a reference for the headliner.....not the exact same process but you can get the idea.

I'm in the process of redoing my headliner from my own sunroof install comming this summer.

I'll give you that one. lol, but honestly if he was asking how to do it, it seems like he's trying to figure out if its beyond his skill. So instead of encouraging him to go another way, tell him how you think it would go (or how it would go if you've done it like the question says) and he could decide from there.
