I have a 1988 Honda civic... SO i am driving i shift into 2nd gear and my car has 2 blank spots in them when iam going like ill be dirving and put *blank* put *blank* in the exhasut like dead spots or somthing... them iam goign down the highway.. about 70 mph.. iam tyring to get it to stay 70 and its like its hesitating.. small blanks here and thier iam not sure if somthign it wrong or not.. i think thier might be some missfires and the timing off.. or i haven o idea

also when i turn my car on it starts to idle really high then after a minuet it will die back down to a normal low hum... anyideas?

 

check your injectors

 

how many miles you have on the motor? maybe it needs a tune up check the sparkplugs,wires, distributor cap and rotor.
