Default Walbro Fuel Pump Help. * Experts Only Plz *

Well, I have everything in placed wired and mounted, but the fuel pickup line that plugs into the bottom of the pump that runs inside the tank, the hose continiously comes off, I just wanted to know how you all went about strapping that hose to the pump. Thanks

are you serious?

a clamp.

p.s. the bottem of the pump should have a pickup screen, not a hose, the only hose, goes between the pump and 'mounting' piece of the pump, for fuel to get pumped through, no fuel is picked up by a hose.

you see, this is why i asked for experts only

The pump is ran inline, therefore the " screen " that we in the real world call a fuel filter is inside the tank, while the pump is outside the tank. I cant use a clamp because there is only a peice of plastic about 1/4 of an inch to work with coming out of the pump

That is why he wanted experts only, cause the experts can read his mind.

Yes,, I guess...

anyway, im still stumped on how to securly attach the hose. Will a glue work? along with a clamp of course. Ive tried using a small clamp, but ti comes off and I dont want to try going with just a clamp, im sure it will pop off under the pressure of the pump

You might try some epoxy, I dont know if you want it to be that permanent though.
