Honda wont help me. Is it legit?
Hi guys!
I just spent a shitload of money on a rebuild of my engine. The entire list of acolades can be found here, with pictures.

Now to the problem. I have an oilleak from my headgasket, apparently in the front, to the left of the engine. All the parts are OEM, all the work was done at a certified Honda shop. (One of the biggest one in Scandinavia). In my opinion, they should fix this free of charge - but they wont.
They claim that they cant guarantee the setup is safe, due to the increase in compression. They also claim that the oem headgasket (P73) isnt strong enough to support such high compression - and that the oilleak is caused by this. INHO thats bullshit. The head was torqued down to ITR specs, and all seals, gaskets and sucks were replaced.
Could you guys help me out with some decent argumentation I may use to help my cause?

stock gasket should hold even with high compression.. i think they're trying to rip you off. I suggest you ask an engine builder who builds race engines and converse with him for arguments for your case.

I second this, OEM gasket hould hold way more than what you're putting out as CR is concerened.

where the arrow is pointing does the oil bubble up right there? mine was bubbling up right there and it ended up being the vtec solenoid gasket. look under the vtec solenoid see if you see a stream of oil or run your finger under it if you cant look.

Yes.. Just wait a little while after you shut off the car to take the vtec noid off.. And dont start the car with it off..

Put a rag under it.
My gsr motor leaked the same way. It was the vtec solenoid gasket. Honda/Acura calls it the Spool valve gasket/filter.
