I believe that the Prelude VTEC can weigh less than the above posted 2932. My old 93 Prelude Si weighed in at 2780 w/ full interior and not much fuel. The VTEC should'nt weigh much more.
A good driver in a 4th gen VTEC can run high 14's. With great conditions and a great driver maybe a 14.6. They run 15.3 or so with a average driver. I think that they can run about 14.2 with i/h/e and cam gears. My Si ran 15.0 all day long with just the bolt ons. A VTEC would have 30+ more hp, so it could probably run low to mid 14s with bolt ons.

Why is your 93 better? lighter weight due to no cupholder?

I've heard that the 93 VTEC is the fastest because of no passenger airbag, lighter center console, etc. On the other hand, the 94 and up has the lighter wheels. I have heard that the 96 Preludes are a little less powerful due OBD II.
Your 93 has passenger airbags? Is yours a USDM car? Mine didn't have them. I wonder if they were added mid model year or something?
