Default Wiring JDM EF fog light switch

OK, I won a JDM switch on ebay....and the pigtails off the harness are:

black, red/black (there's two this color), red/yellow and a red. What connects to what?

Hmmz

Red is power
Black is ground
The two of the same would go to the lights
red/yellow could be power for the light in the switch

I'm just guessing here....

Pretty much said as above.
Red power
Black ground
The third one is the switch.

Shouldn't I "beef up" the power to the lights by making the two of the same color into one...then running that to a relay?

I had to do this the other day. Its actually not how it appears. The black is not ground its actually one of the positives. See the clip looks like this...

The two stacked ones are the positives and the negative is the one that is alone. One way the positives are hooked up will make the light for the switch stay on all the time and if so flip them around and it will be ok.

Does any one know where i can find one, or does anyone have one that they want to sell? As for the colors black is ground, the two red blacks are to the lights, the red yellow is the one that goes to the plug on your fues box that has power when you turn on you lights, thw red wire goes to direct power, ther should be a plug on the fues box that has constant power. If your harnes for the lights still has the factory conections it should be plug and play

Just keep re-checking on ebay. I got mine from the user "jhotimports" or something like that. Fast shipping.

Are you positive? Just great. Now I gotta research for a true front facing fog light switch..or just buy a normal one.

the front fog lights switch should be a vertical switch that goes in the slots under the steering wheel...the rear foglight switch goes into the cluster cover...
