Yea so Im starting to dislike my integra
And with that im starting to look toward selling it
This is more of a vent post than anything else
Basically for the last few months it has been nothing but trouble
First my brakes failed, after putting new brakes on the car they still dont work as well as they should, but that is my own fault... after 3 days of working on it, the car stopped well enough to be street driven, ill worry about whatever is causing misc brake problems when/if I get lines or while im changing the wheels to sell it
A week ago I threw code 16... when I restarted the car after letting it warm up the light was off and I drove it around "normally"
I just hate going to work with a potentially serious check engine light on
Yesterday im driving home and I turned into my neighborhood and the ****** just up and died. With the help of my roommate (IN VTEC) we got the piece of **** fired and I limped it home to check timing and make sure all was decent... amazingly he managed to put the distributor on at the perfect timing... which I thought was pretty cool
This morning I start the car to head for my parents house and guess what, im staring at code 16 again
The new distributor makes a lot of noise which I really dont like and I know one of my belt driven accessories isnt enjoying life
oh yea forgot to mention two odd dead batterys last week... although I think I might have left a light on for one of them, I cant explain the second one
I also think my alt is going bad... if I have interior lights on and I rev the engine, they get brighter
hopefully ill be able to fix my truck soon and ill either sell the integra or strip it and put the engine im currently building into it

I do my own diagnostic thanks
it gets to a point where I get tired of looking at it on a daily basis, and even if I wanted to take it somewhere else I cant afford it
they arent that serious but they all involve either time or money and patience
I dont have a whole lot of the last two lately, obviously my own damn fault but still

same here, tired of my integra too. For some reason i seem to be giving away parts to my friends. I gave away my type r seats, dc header, greddy sp, aem cai, my system,type r lip, ground control, struts, n gave my slipstream to my gf. Now its a POS. I dont even wanna drive it. Maybe cuz its my third integra. Car had no problem wit it at all. kinda sad tho, cuz i dont like my integra no more. Might sell this sucka cheap!

i love mine to death. every Home depot trip has me hauling a trunk load of stuff in it. I get more use out of this car than my friend does with his truck.

or should I say, If I was willing to actually look at the "problems" I could figure it out fairly quickly
And whats a professional? Lets see our town has a honda dealership that doesnt know its own *** from a hole in the ground. They were very helpful with technical diagrams when we were doing an H22A swap into an accord... really nice people but instead of asking for H22A stuff you had to ask for 96 Prelude VTEC stuff... not a big deal but it was a bit of a language barrier at first... my other option is a VERY sleazy cuban... mexican... whatever the hell he is... hes a dirty crook and he ***** up everything he works on... and no I will not mention names
The other option is a little organization called TFGG Motorsports... which is basically myself and IN VTEC, my room mate...
I was making an attempt at not being rude with the last guy that suggested I was ignorant... Lets just say I know the ins and outs of that car more than most people do. I installed my own intake and exaust!
This was of course before we made a custom turbocharger setup for a 3rd gen Eclipse... and some time after I started building my 12.5:1 Toda C NA "beast"

Anyway Im going to slap the bitch around here in the next few days and maybe try out the whole sea foam thing 1 in the tank, half in the intake and half in the oil
