Default Identifying Eibach Springs, is this a good deal?

***Edit*** Pics at the bottom.

I have a friend of mine who sells parts at wholesale, but also has an interesting deal for my DA. He says I can have these coilovers that he had machined w/ eibach springs, but the coilover system is his design.

The only problem is, I can't tell if he's all BS or if it's truly worth it. It is hella cheap though, only $150 for all four. I'm going to look at them tomorrow, and I wanted to know if there was any way to identify the eibach springs, and to tell if the coilovers are any good. Thanks in advance.

Isn't that just the springs?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW
There's GC's w/ Eibach's for $249

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW
There's Eibach Sportlines for $155

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW
There's Eibach Prokit for $152

The springs seem to be around 150 ish, but this is for a full coilover system. Plus, I get to see them in person, I just need to know a little more about what to look for as quality or design, anything that might stand out, or something to tell me if its worth it.... Thanks.

No, from what he told me I think he used to work for JP Motorsports before he did this business. I think he knows what he's doing, I just don't really know what I'm looking at to be able to tell their quality/condition/value.

Thanks, I really hope their not 'cuz I really don't want stolen parts on my teg. Although stolen parts are cheap, it just means they came from another car, and next time that could be yours and ****. Good lookin out though... anybody else got suggestions on what to look for?

Would you "friend" really do that to you?

When you go look at them, take a pic of em and post them up...it'll be much easier to identify!

Well, after debating and talking to someone who knows him a little better, I think it's going to be a good deal. I am going by his shop tonight, and after I purchase them I will try to get some kind of pictures on here. Thanks for all the input though.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm going to go with the wholesale deal.

These things are stiff as hell, just picked them up for $150. All I have to do now is figure out what shocks to match them with. He said it can raise 1" or lower 4" on these, and they look really nice.

Edit: They started making x's so I converted them to links. They still work though.

Edit Again: For some reason these are linking back to my thread. I'm confused...

I say you just get a brand new suspension, put some money into do it right but eibach is the way i would recommend the pro street kit i think it can lower your car about 70mm and there stiff and good for handling. just do it right

Well these can lower to around 4 inches he said, but I don't want too much of a drop. We'll see how good they are when I get them in. Sorry if the pics are down, I think I ran out of bandwidth.
