Default DAP window sealant for motor mounts?

Ok so I couldn't find any urathane in a bottle or 3m window sealant but I did talk with people that said the DAP Window/door sealant is really stiff and hardens.
It needs to be cured I know...
36hours later it's still pretty soft...

has anyone used this stuff?
I know it takes like 2-3 days to cure but is it normal that it's still soft after 36hours?

wait...

¿you are using DAP window sealant for motor mounts..?

i would rather use urethane... my neighbor instals windshields and uses a grip of CR laurence or essex urethane... essex is the best... try looking them up on ebay or something...

I used some home depot polyurethane window sealer (not 3m) on one of the mounts and it dried but not as hard as I expected... I went back to home depot and bought 100% polyurthane glue.. this stuff took a bit longer to dry (2-3 days) but it was a lot harder than the window sealer...

It felt like steel when i tried to poke at it with my fingers and it doesn't move at all.. sure I get a lot more vibration at idle but im used to it now lol.. I would recommend this stuff over "window sealer" if you want a rock hard end product..

Crap... what a jip.
I was at home depot and they're all lookin at my crazy cause I wanna make my mounts stiffer.
Then they said DAP window sealant is good.

Doh. Ok, I'll wait to see if it hardens anytime soon and prolly just destory it and start over.....

goto napa and get a tube of 3m polyurthane window sealer, it's around 10-15 bucks.

I did my top mounts with urethane I bought at Home Depot last week. I couldn't find anyone that carried the 3M brand.

I was to lazy to take the mounts out so it probably didn't come out perfect. But it did help hold the motor in place better. I already have JimFab lower mounts so my car already vibrates like crazy.
