for the cheap ppl, who uses window weld to fill motor mounts?????
I am basically ready to drop my motor in. Right now I have ES motor mount inserts. I was looking at Hasports but I can use that money towards my radiator. I want to see who used window well to fill their motor mounts? How long has it lasted? Any regrets on buying solid motor mounts in the first place??

Window weld will probably work, but you can't choose your durometer. With the Forsch compound, you can choose.

i used window weld.
the mounts are solid.... It's been a while and even after loosing a few mount bolts the mounts are still hanging in there
I dont really know what else to say about window welding mounts except that it works. There is no need to spend money on inserts or THROW your money away on hasports ****

Pop it and drain all of the g00 out then refill it with window weld. I used a big syringe with a big fat needle on it to do this.

I used window weld on my hatch, before that I used polyeurthane sealant from home depot in my crx..
I have to say that the poly sealant works much better than the window weld does.. Much more solid setup..

Can someone clarify better how this works. My rear mount is shot, and I'm hoping that I don't have to remove it. Would this be possible using this method?

Im not sure if you can do it with it still in the car.. If so you would have to remove the rear L bracket.. I would say to just remove it and fill it that way, would have a much better result..

I've used epoxy on the lower supports. rock solid and vibrates like crazy. dries really fast though, so it was a quick project for me.

I used Hot glue, just melted some stickets witjh a torch a let it ooze in there, Im sure you guys have felt a glue stick, there ******* HARD!!
And I made it look clean to. Havent run the car but I couldnt move the mounts at all by hand

My dumb *** bought the inserts before I learned about the epoxy stuff, it was a pain in the *** to get them in(im talking about the 2 front ones that dont really support the motor), and they are already falling out. Im gonna do the window epoxy next time I get a chance. Dont waste your money on inserts, incase it wasnt already obvious!!!

i just took a piece of 1/8 inch thick steel and cut a hole where the bolt slids threw and welded the steal to the mount on both sides and around the bolt hole/ that **** doesnt move
