Lately, theres been an intermittent funky click (only one click) sound when i let off the gas in lower gears at engine speeds that would otherwise "jerk" the car (I'm not a newbie driver) from deceleration.

I dont know if its my axles/cv joints, but i was wondering if it also could be something in my clutch assembly, like the throwout bearing?

 

Are you cruising or downshifting at the time?

not during cruising unless i let off the gas, but not when downshifting since i heel-toe or revmatch.
