rev hard stage2, rc550's afc hack... when starting my car is sometimes wont start... when it does i have to step on the gas to get it to stop chuging... any suggestions, i pulled the plugs (bkr7e's) they look ok ? only about 400 miles on them

 

They look like you're fouling them out. What's the VAFC set for?

 

at first i had it at like -40 across the board, now im at like -45 to -48

 

 

i had the same problem and it turned out to be the ICM, ignition control module inside the distributor. It cost $40 to fix (used) but it works fine now. Buy the book for your engine and it will show you a few easy tests to make sure its working right.

 

Before you start teh car, put your foot to the floor (WOT)

This will cut out the injectors, then turn the key. The car will turn over with no fuel, and the spark plugs will get nice and hot. It will not start until you remove your foot from the gas pedal.

Release gas pedal quickly.

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

 

car looks like its running pig rich. Need to lean it out a little. What is your fpr set at?
