Falken Azenis Tire question
Bought Azenis 205 55 16 for my GSR. They rub on outside of fenders, and car is only lowered 3/4 of an inch. Will rolling fenders give me enough clearance. Any ideas.
Should have stuck with 205 45 16

u should got tires closer to stock size, the 205 45 16 s would been the right choice....well hopfully those arent to much of a problem for ya.
Azenis don't come in 205/45/16, they come in 215/45/16 and yes you should have gotten that latter.
205/55/16 = 24.9" diameter
215/45/16 = 23.5"
stock is 23.1" I think.
You could roll your fenders I suppose, but I would buy a new set of 215/45/16's.

Thats a tall tire
Should have went with 205/45/16, Azenis doesnt make that size, but they do maker a 215/45/16 Azenis, which would have been a better choice.

Stock wheels are
width AR Wheel Diameter in Inches
195 60 14 23.21259843
Your's
205 55 16 24.87795276
Your wheel is 1.6 inches BIGGER than stock. LOL Sorry, didn't mean to laugh at you sorrow.
Where as
if you went with 215 45 it would be

Or 0.4 inches larger.
Just thought I'd give you the information from my spreadsheet.

You should go back to the place you bought them from and act like you know nothing about tires and blame it on the salesman. Maybe they'll exchange them for you but you might have to pay the mount and balance fee.
Yup, wrong tire size. You can either run some negative camber (remember to correct the toe after changing camber!), or just deal with the rubbing for now and buy the correct size tires next time. It's not like Azenis last a long time on the street...

no one ever said there wasn't that size, the guy already has them on his car. I'd go back to a tire shop and get the right ones. Even if you lose some money having to reorder the new ones, they should give you credit for those tires since they are new.
