Default the woes of grinding....

so my si tranny grinds from second to third, and from third to fourth unless i shift VERY slowly....i think it may be the short shifter...its a ractive one so i know its ****....anything else like the clutch cable or anything like that causing it...it has just been refilled with royal purple synchromesh...

any help would be greatly appreciated

how long ago was the synchromesh put in? it usually takes a couple hundred miles to take full effect. Also i know alotta people are gonna recomend you ditch the royal purple for some GM friction modified

check your fluid and if you decide to have it rebuilt i could send you a rebuilt one and i will take yours as a core, mine in my crx is doing the same as you describe, just drive it till it breaks and buy a new one, if you dont want it rebuilt i will buy your tranny when its done for.
