Thats probably your Maintenance Required light...Look in your owners manual.
It just means youre due for schedule maintenance, you can shut it off easily.

Well I just asked her what the light was and she said it was a check engine light until I went over and saw the maintenace required light on

If the RSX and the S2k are good examples... just insert the key and turn it one click. hold the reset button for your odometer for about 10 secs then turn the key to the ON position and continue holding on to the reset button until the Maint light goes away. I don't know if it is the same for the SI.
