ugghhhh Hasport/Driveshaft shop axles binding badly!!!!!
I have an H22 in a EK Civic. I bought Hasport/Driveshaft shop's hybrid axles along with a Hasport mount kit. My axles are binding very badly. Anyone else have these problems with these axles???

If that was the case then he can't lower his car with a h22 swap? Anyways, I know a few people with those axles and have no problems. Check your install again and if you still have problems then send them back cause you might of gotten wrong axles.
I got the correct axles according to Landspeed racing (who I got them from). As far as the engine install, there really isnt a way to mess them up (its pretty straight forward). The engine seems to sit fine. As far as lowering it it is about a two inch drop or so, I am using GC with Koni Yellows.
I have that same setup. I orginally had a binding, but I think that was because I have a tranny with LSD and the axle set was for the non-LSD. I checked the play and it was tight on both ends. The guys had a new set shipped out to me. It should have maybe 1"?? I forget exactly. It was last year. The new set works great. I also have an Eibach pro-kit for my car.
mine is an LSD tranny too (SiR LSD tranny)! So your saying that its a special set of axles for the LSD tranny? Strange it just seems just one side is binding. Do u think I should send both sets back and have them send me another pair or just the one? Thanks again.
If you are having binding issues, it is because the LSD and non LSD tranny are shimmed different, if you get a prelude outter with 89 integra inner your binding issue should be solved

I used to have a non-OEM LSD Tranny with Quaife Transmission and I had no problems. My tranny started to grind, so I bought an OEM H22A LSD Tranny, and now my passanger side binds... U think this could fix it?

Your axles are too long (well at least the passenger side is, and possibly the driver too depending on what mid shaft you're using). If you use 89 Integra axles w/Prelude inner joints, I pretty much guarantee your binding problems will go away. Also, invest in a camber kit.... when you straighten up your knuckles/hubs, it'll put less stress on the joints.

I already have a camber kit. That just means I need to find 89 Integra Axles w/ Prelude Inner Joints. I'm so used to buying the other axles from just a regular store, I wouldn't know where to get these..... anyone?

would the 89 teg axels help reduce vibration in a eg? i have 93 teg axels with prelude inner joints now and still a a very little vibration. also just installed my quaife so ill see how it goes.
i'm planning to do a h22 w/lsd this summer. does anybody know if this would happen with the hasport axles. i wanna use a performance axle and not a stock unit or modified stock unit. plus i can get hasport products pretty cheap. and has anyone have any problems with the hasport axles.
The Honda transmission with LSD is wider than the non LSD tranny. That causes the right-hand axle to be too long and the bearing bottom on the inboard joint. Make sure you specify that you have an LSD tranny when ordering axles.
If you are using a non Honda LSD like a Quaife then the shorter rh axle is not necessary.

What about the driver's side axle? Does that stay the same?
