What screw? Valve covers are in by bolts.
Or do you mean your ground screw? If you broke that in there then just screw it out. Other then that i have no clue what your talking about. Take a pic.

I'm guessing he snapped a valve cover bolt off. Sucks to be you. You can try to drill out a hole in the middle of it and use an easy out set to get it out. Or take it to a machine shop and let them do the same thing for about $100. Your call. Next time don't torque the **** out of your bolts like that. 7 lb/ft I think is what it's supposed to be.
If a bolt or screw is broken off deep inside a blind hole, the problem is the same. There are a few ways to fix.
1. Drill the center of the screw out and use an easyout. This method is risky esp with smaller screw/bolts. They snap off very easy and the problem just got bigger because now there is a hardened piece inside as well.
2. Drill the screw completely out and use a heli-coil insert.
3. Take it to a machine shop and let them do it.

My friend snapped one of mind off, all we did is took an extremely small drill bit to it, put a hole in it and backed it out. Pretty easy, took like 5 minutes.
What if you took the rest of the screws out, and took the valve cover completely off, would it be sticking out a little? Or is it deeper than that?
