Default For those running high boost or NOS...

Do you guys find it safe power shifting at high rpm's with all that boost or NOS I know i thought it was safe until I missed a gear and bent my valves... now im starting to rethink it....how much of a difference could powershifting get you in the 1/4 mile anyways...seriously???

Define powershifting??

Are you referring to speedshifting where you don't use the clutch? I've heard that called the idiots style ...

Or are you basically referring to just revving high, shifting quicking, etc...? As for boost, etc... the higher you rev the great chance of detonation you have. SOOO... there are several procautions, etc... If you build your motor right, and drive smartly... you should be okay.

I mean not taking your gas off of the full throttle position while your shifting....how stupid is that with an 80-100shot of NOS???? and will it make if difference if i don't do it

Why bother? Just shift fast. I wouldn't want to bang the rev limiter with an 80 shot of NOS.
