Does smog center mean test only?
What setup do u got? B16 gen1? Swicth over to obd1, and run everything just like a 94 del sol. If smog center is a normal shop, just make it look stock as possible, and find a mom and pop smog place. Ryan

J/W did you get your car smogged at the smog center 2 years ago? If so then they are probably just sending you a notice that you need to smog your car again. I used to live in Cali and as far as i remember you don't need to go to a Smog Center you just need to go to a place get your car smogged so your registration is still good. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. But having that engine probably won't pass a visual inspection anywhere.

Call the DMV and find out if you can just go to a mom and pop station. You'll have an easier time convincing them to get you by then any other.

why dont people just go legit with their swaps? It's not that hard. People say it costs too much money to buy all the USDM ecu and whatnot, but then they end up having to stress out every 2 years trying to find a place that wont care, or they'll have to pay $$$ for someone to "overlook" it.

Plus, its worth the peace of mind imo if/when you get pulled over.

Get it BAR approved, and then do your headswap, or whatever. Then when you go to these 'mom and pop' shops, they wont know that the motor on the sticker isnt supposed to have a vtec head, etc.

DIU you know that there are only a few people on the internet with such foresite, like me for example, my swap is BAR approved and i did all of my research before hand, well that swap is coming out and something new is going it (which will be boosted and CALIFORNIA SMOG LEGAL AT THE SAME TIME!! )
