so i just got done installing my ST sway bar, ill put it in simple format
Likes:
1. car feels solid, *** end doesnt drag
2. a little tighter on the turns ( but can rotate to much )
Dislikes:
1. Rattles the **** outta my car ( stupid apexi exhaust )
2. Snap oversteer ownz me
( just spun out )
3. Too much rear rotation, i was looking for a more neutral handling
all in all, i dunno if i like or dislike this... in turns it feels like the *** just wants to be in front.... maybe my car doesnt come with a front sway stock ( 88 standard ) i might try some different setups before i take the bar off and call it a day

any suggestion on a more neutral setup? i was thinking.... DA front sway and a 4DR DA rear sway..... i just want something thats very neutral in the corners, cuz with the setup now you cannot really change once you pick a path in the turn, if you want to get closer itll snap in and spin.... VERY dangerous...
Yeah you can adjust the ST one several different ways. I have mine setup for the most understeer (thats the thing RWD is like right?) and I think it drives fine. I never had the *** end ever come out on me or anything either.

First off do you have a front sway at all? If not try putting an si one up front before you give up on it. I've got the front and rear st bars and love how the car handles. If you don't have a front sway I'd suggest putting it on the softest setting as the st bar is very thick compared to stock.
I agree, try an SI front bar if you don't like the oversteer from the rear bar. But, with 330 rear spring rates, I really can't imagine your back end kicking out that badly unless you're hitting the brakes in the middle of a turn.

i figured out why.... i installed the bar like the instructions said, reemed the nut on the LCA where the bolt connects and ran the endlinks in there im thinking that was a bad idea i saw a few pics of them installed on the boards and moved the endlinks to there now im very happy with the handling, it is on the softest setting, what size is the HF and SI front bars?
i have a ST swaybar on my 90 crx si. i think mine is a 19mm or 20mm and it is non adjustable. the brackets that it came with didn't fit the car so i used the stock brackets. not sure what car the bar was really for.
anyway...with this bar the car seems to be very neutral. but i was actally hoping for a little more oversteer like my integra with the 23mm sway has.
i run koni yellows and what i think are eibach springs (not sure though) on the crx.

oversteer is nice on the track but you want a tad bit of understeer or neutral handling is good for the street, me personally im looking for a 18 - 21mm front sway, what car came with it stock thatll fit my car?
the hf bar is bigger in outside daimeter but is hollow. so its softer than the si bar. im running the st rear bar on full stiff and no front bar. im actually thinking about trying the sanner 25mm bar. i need the car to change directions a little faster. but im speeking from an autocross standpoint.

Just wondering, what alternate hook-up did you use? I'm going to installing a ST bar soon and wonder which hook-up to use, the install directions or this alternate method?

there was just a hole on the LCA and i used that, although im not really liking the angles on the endlinks. But still works pretty good im going to switch it to the 2nd hole and see how it feels, when i reemed the nut on the stock 88 LCA and ran a bigger bolt through there, the car was extremely solid but also had alot of snap oversteer

I hear the 88 become real snappy when u install the st bar (i have one waiting to go in after i put on my thermal 3"
) the 89-91 mount on the strut while we have to mount ours in further, also try useing some washers to give that bolt going threw your lca some more strenght (stack em tight)
