Bear in mind im in my girlfriends mazda 6 (auto) and i've never tried this before. My first run went ok with a slow as hell 17.4 which is what i expected from the heavy 150hp car. On my second attempt my burnout went well and i pulled to the line, pre stage light, stage light i go to neutral preparing for my the second abusive launch whn all of a sudden i lose my stage light? I assume my car rolled backwards or somthing . Should i have gone forward even farther after the stage light? Noone else seems to have trouble rolling backward out there any advice would be appreciated. (besides go buy a honda beacuse im shoppin right now.> Thanks J. No, and since its an auto, your going to have to hold the brake. Because otherwise you'll just roll. PRACTICE......

 

^Thanks for the advice i had wondered about that. When your in a clutch i assume you hold the cluch out just at the begining of the friction zone? Also do you sidestep of just move your leg up quick as hell?

Ya just as soon as its about to grab. As for the last part, its a matter of opinion, i personally dont sidestep that often, just drop the hell out of it...
