puttin in new tach, how do i tap into the fuse pannel for the ignition? or is there a different way/better way?

 

ummmm depending on car.. if its a civic.. were the fuses are. there are open slots that you can plug the ign. wire into. all you need is a female connector and maybe a light tester to see which one it is.. ive seen people also plug it into there stereo ign. wire. but i imagine its up to u.

 

plugging into a random one wuold work? i always thought you had to splice off the ignition wire. thanks. and yes it is a civic.

 

Cant find my digital cam.. i believe its the third one from the right... the slot looks like a box with a - in the middle..each slot is for different things.. 1 slot is for when car is on, when lights are on and etc. if im incorrect about the slot just play with it a bit and you will find it.. there are only 5 so shouldnt take too long.
